Kabisig USA raises and distributes funds in support of Kabisig ng Kalahi, a non-government, non-profit organization that is deeply involved in poverty alleviation and nutrition development programs in the Philippines.

Kabisig ng Kalahi was founded in 2001 by Vicky Wieneke after a long, successful career in clothing manufacturing, as a means to give back to her fellow countrymen (“kalahi”). Through Kabisig, Vicky has created and managed multiple programs, in partnership with government and industry, that helps Filipinos and their communities work together to address poverty, hunger, and malnutrition in the Philippines.
